Why use UHMW Polyethylene:
- Very Low Specific Gravity (Floats In Water)
- Superior Wear Resistance
- Very Low Moisture Absorption
- High Chemical Resistance
- Very Low Cost vs. Physical Properties
This materials is…excellent wearing and very abrasion resistant – one of the best materials made for these properties. Very low specific gravity (floats in water). Promotes the flow of bulk material (sand, soy beans, coal, etc.). Superior material for wear strip, conveyor rails, slide plate, wear pads.
- Very Low Moisture Absorption
- FDA, USDA and 3-A Dairy Compliant
- Superior Wear Resistance
- Chemically Resistant to Chlorine and Caustic/Acidic Cleaning Agents
- Offers excellent strength, rigidity and machinability

“This stuff wears forever. We have had some parts in use for over 12 years, and they are hardly worn at all.” – Albert T.
“We use sheets for our conveyor belts to ride on. We have tripled the wear life of our expensive belts by using your UHMW sheets.” – Morris B.
“I use this material as a mold release for our concrete molds. They just ‘pop’ out of the mold. Great!” – Henry P.
